M62 MFWD lever as it should be

Under the loader joy stick tower there is a slot in the plastic cover toward the operator seat. Per the owners manual there was a lever to lockout the FEL controls for safety during high speed transport. Toward the front still underneath the joy stick is another leveler to keep the loader bucket level for pallet fork operations.
The B26 also has a FEL lockout that sometimes gets accidentally hit but is up higher.

OK. I know it now. I have seen that lever over there, & don't think I've ever used it or hit it accidently. That may be because the first thing I did on the new M59 was to raise the seat up a few inches to accomodate how I like to sit.

By the way, when I went to lube the joystick last year, it sure surprised me to find all that lives under that joystick rubber cover is a rat nest of motorcycle control cables leading down to the actual hydraulic control - which operates in the dirt under the floor on the right side behind a steel cover.... the cover that has the "NO STEP" decal.

M59 had the valve lock lever removed when I bought it.
When the B26 valve lock gets bumped out of the unlock notch toward the lock notch you can feel resistance. Might want to check yours to make sure it is unlocked fully.
The B20 had a top hinged plate that limited loader stick travel.

My loader valve cover had a corner bend from probably brush. Little protection for a valuable component. Incorporated skid plates in a tool and chainsaw carrier. Now protected with 1/2” and 3/8” steel plates.

Had top tier arborists help me clear trees and debris that crushed my spring house were I get my water. Big storm damaged trees in a tight spot. It flat out amazed them what and how fast that M59 could work. Carrying off debris with grapple. Boom pole on pallet forks lifting logs off the roof. Chains, chokers, saw ready. Back to grapple all on soft ground. Not bad for an old man either.

"Wondering how well the right angle handle extension holds with just one nut? Needs two bolts, key or tang to control rotational force? Mil spec internal/external tooth washers might help. Good idea and hope the OP lets us know how the modifications weathers."

I had the same concern with just one nut holding the extension handle in place. I did have to tighten it once. It would be nice to have splines or another of the features you mentioned. In the non engaged position it rests against the fender so there is no lateral force on it then. Since the one tightening it has stayed just fine.

Knoxville, TN, eh? Just got my son set up at UT there. Suddenly an orange fan. Who knew?
