This is all news to me. I know my dealer has sold several, I'll try to remember to ask him tomorrow if he's seen the same.

PS, this sounds like a good tool to negotiate a better price on a 8560 or M5-088. :)

I like how you think Derek..... :)

I own a M7060 HDC12 and have never had this feeling with the pedals. As far as JD, tractors as old as the last 1960s have had that in brakes. I will say despite that feeling, the brakes have never failed to stop the tractor.

That's encouraging! What year was yours manufactured? I am wondering if it could be from sitting for a long time on the lots. I know the one I want was delivered in sept 15 to the dealer, and the first one I looked at, at another dealer could have been there since 2014, the salesman was ambiguous about delivery date. I really like the 7060, I'm just concerned about the brakes.

You said "I know the front axle engages when the brakes are applied while traveling in 2 wheel drive, giving you 4 wheel braking." I wonder if that is a related factor ? I never knew of a tractor with that feature (e.g. triggering front wheel drive line when brakes are applied.) Just my ignorance no doubt but that one is new on me. A quick test of course would be to run it around some in 4wd and then try the brakes where the automatic shift is not required. Regardless, Kubota has to find and fix this one big time. Sounds like a recall coming considering the number of them and the observations of the rep.

That's a great idea, I wish I thought of trying the brakes in 4WD, I figured it was a solenoid run by the brake pedal, linked to the electronic shift on the fly, but maybe not.

Meant to add that I'm working with the rep on some other equipment so I will ask him if they have had any issues. They are a good sized dealer and move a lot of equipment.

Thanks! so would you say your brake pedals are consistent. When you apply them do they seem to always "feel" the same? This issue will allow the pedal to drop to the floor, and than if you pump it, the pedal will come back up to where it should be. It won't drop to the floor every time either, but often. Thanks for your insight, I think the 7060 perfect for me I'm worried about what I'm seeing with the brakes though.

Mine are consistent and firm. Very little movement in the pedals at all. Unless they have changed something since this one I suspect air in the lines.

Where are you located?

I'm in Central NY, Cortland Co. I know the suspect machines have been out on the lot for at least one full winter, if not more, and hope it's something like air in the lines. The problem is that multiple dealers figured air in the lines, bled them and state the issue persists. Don't get me wrong I'm not bashing! I'm rooting for Kubota!
