Here is the circular logic I used on myself maybe it will work on your dad. If you buy at 0% for 60 months that money you would have spent can be invested and make you money, lowering the cost, plus it is an ag investment you can write off and you're kids might want it later and it will remind them of you better than your money would.

You will love it. I do question the tire choice though. Unless you are working around or crossing lawns most of the time I would stay with AG tires, Ag ones at that. The reason is you will never be able to put all your power to the ground with R-4s, which is the reason you rarely see tractors of this size with them.

In typical soil configuration I agree, loamy soil with lots of roots, but I have lots of experience with two other soil types, sand and clay. Both of these require weight and surface area, the rounded lug ag tires is at a disadvantage in these situations.

I'm may end up with the radials as that all that is in stock.

Since I'm lot shopping to close before the end of year I've got take the closest config to what I wanted so far 70/60/12speed with radial tires seems where I'm headed, the rest of options are dealer bolt on. Will update as things progress
