M8200 windshield

Any advise/tips for replacing the windshield in my M8200 cab tractor. Power pole guide wire was no match for it while putting out hay yesterday. Found a replacement for 200.00 and I believe I can install it myself.

If you have a local glass company, they can make about any shape flat windshield glass...

Yes if the glass is flat, most tractors today have a curve in the glass. That is what worries me, 15 years from now will I be able to replace the glass in the discountinued

You probably can they make a window rubber 5/16 bead for windshields. Clean your pinch weld roll out the 5/16 bead and press the windshield into it.
Personally I would call a glass company and have them do it. If I had to replace my glass I want it to look factory when done.

I paid the extra and ordered the glass from Kabota (340.00) and have decided to install it myself. Thanks for the picture, that's what I had trouble cleaning off from the old one. New one will not be here till next Monday, I'll post how it goes.

Got the new one installed, it took my wife and I about 2 hours and it looks good as new. Hardest part was getting it all cleaned out and ready for the new one. Waxman - thanks for the picture, I printed it out and took it to the auto parts store.
