M8560 lost hydraulics?

The symptoms indicated some sort of blockage. That unit doesn't show up in the standard tractor parts lists for the hydraulic piping. It might be an O.E.M. part, but it's an option, not standard equipment. It is however, a logical "first place to look" since it's located between the pump and everything else. You knew it was there, but no one out here did.

Can you post a picture or two of the 3rd function valve. It might help someone else and also provide Harry and I some additional insight on this valve.

Good job on finding the problem.

I will post a picture for you tomorrow!

It tells me you have a valve stuck somewhere, and oil flow is going nowhere. Just building pressure in the system (maybe going over relief) causing the heat, with oil flow not getting to the loader valve, remotes and lift system. Seems odd because the loader valve is usually first in line for oil from the pump so at least that should work. Check the remote levers to make sure one of them isn't stuck on or something.
+1

The first picture is the third function valve block, the second is the electronic solenoid valve on top of the block, and the third is the supply hose coming from the valve block to feed the loader.

Thanks for the pics JC

Does the valve bolt onto that manifold in the pictures? I suspect yes and also suspect D05 size which would handle full flow and could be used to feed loader valve.

the valve bolts ontop of the block with 4 screws. I’m not sure of the size number for it. Thank y’all for your help on this!

If valve is approx 2” wide and four 1/4” diameter holes in a Diamond pattern and mtg bolts are #10 it is D03 size if valve is approx 3 1/4” wide and has four or five holes in V pattern and 1/4” bolts it is D05.

These would be two most common valve sizes used for 3rd function.
