M8560 Utility Tractor

Hello all,
Purchasing family farm and it comes with an M8560. I have used it to move some timbers for a barn I will make soon and noticed the PTO shaft spins slowly on startup with the rpms down at idle. When I idle up a little it stops. Just wanted to check with you guys first. All I know about the history is an easy life with low hours and use with a snow-blower occasionally and a 12' bush hog. Im writing this with little specifics as I've spent little time on this tractor so I apologize. We will be moving out to the farm soon and I want to get a jump on this. I'm just concerned if this is wearing out the brake and needs addressed sooner than later. This may just be normal or perhaps there is a valve that needs adjusted? Need to plan out some finances. Owning a farm will be a new experience. I am excited as it also comes with a B2620. I currently have an L3600. I'm excited to get them all cleaned up and baselined with fluid changes/maintenance etc.. I appreciate any advice. Thanks, Mike

M8560 utilizes a hyd controlled pto therefore hyd pressure needs to build up to apply pressure to apply pto brake. When utilizing the 12 ft rotary mower before stopping use always lower engine/pto rpm's so rotary cutter is turning at lowest rpm's to help limit wear on pto brake when brake is applied.

The PTO brake on those bigger M series is not spring applied like on most smaller tractors?
