Well, I took the Plunge. I bought an IMAC 20" Intel for my desk here. I am in love. I have had to learn to adjust as things are different. I must say WOW is MS Office on a Mac better than a PC (windows).

I bought the machine with 512 memory and upgrade to 2gb, what a difference that makes in it's performance. Otherwise this machine runs very smoothly. I am happy that I made the switch. Well not completely, I still have 2 computers to go.

Just wanted to thank all who replied and gave me the nerve to do it....

Generally speaking, the commands between Windows and Mac are the same, at least in office applications, the difference is which key you hold down.

Windows - CTRL
Mac - Command (Apple Keys)

To save a doc, Command S
To print, Command P
To Cut, Command X
To Paste, Command V

Etc....

Commands perhaps. Location, no. Interface, in some ways the same, but many things are differnt.

I am not completely lost, but it took a while to figure out many simple things, that are simple, just different...

One thing you can do to is to drag the applications folder (one with the big A) to the dock on the right of the divider line (near trash). Once it is there, you can click and hold or right click (Ctrl Click - for one button mousers) and the application folder will pop open, select your application and done.

The one that makes me wonder everytime is the printer control applications are in the Utilities folder off the Applications folder, why 2 levels deep. I guess I am not an interface designer though.
