Have to go on the pull rope side. The shroud will need to be removed to aid in the removal of the flywheel nut and flywheel.
Remove nut and washer,then f/w. Might have to use a pry bar to pry out on f/w.
Put pry bar just barely under f/w, not wanting to pinch wires or bend anything.
Reinstall nut flush to the crank shaft threads. no threads sticking up past the nut.
Putting pressure on pry bar and using a brass hammer "squarely" hit the end of crank shaft.
F/w should pop off, if not-turn f/w 180 degrees and try again. Keep turning,prying and hitting til it pops off. Pick up key or pieces and head to the small engine repairman.
Line up f/w slot and crank shaft slot. insert new key,washer,nut and tighten nut to specs.
Reinstall dry!!!
DO NOT USE OIL OR GREASE ON CRANKSHAFT-FLYWHEEL OR KEY!!!
Reinstall shroud and any other parts removed previously.
Remove plug and pull rope slowly to see if anything binds or rubs.
Install plug and fire it up!
