Have to go on the pull rope side. The shroud will need to be removed to aid in the removal of the flywheel nut and flywheel.
Remove nut and washer, then f/w. Might have to use a pry bar to pry out on f/w.
Put pry bar just barely under f/w, not wanting to pinch wires or bend anything.
Reinstall nut flush to the crank shaft threads. no threads sticking up past the nut.
Putting pressure on pry bar and using a brass hammer "squarely" hit the end of crank shaft.
F/w should pop off, if not-turn f/w 180 degrees and try again. Keep turning, prying and hitting til it pops off. Pick up key or pieces and head to the small engine repairman.
Line up f/w slot and crank shaft slot. insert new key, washer, nut and tighten nut to specs.
Reinstall dry!!!
DO NOT USE OIL OR GREASE ON CRANKSHAFT-FLYWHEEL OR KEY!!!
Reinstall shroud and any other parts removed previously.
Remove plug and pull rope slowly to see if anything binds or rubs.
Install plug and fire it up!
