Regarding the 1626... they didn't make any changes regarding specs over the 1526, it's all cosmetic, comfort changes. Dealer told me $350 more than the 1526 pricing.

Yeah, wondering more about the PTO HP on the 1635. I can probably get by with 20HP, in which case I can get the 1526, but a little more would be peace of mind that I would be able to run just about anything I would need down the road, if it's not an arm a leg price difference. The fender-mounted joystick on the 16xx's would be worth the extra $350 for me, even if I stuck to a 26hp machine. Was also curious if they would put a slightly upgraded loader and/or hoe on the 1635 from the 1626, considering how Mahindra is always touting how they match the implements to the particular models.

Just saw this quick video on the 1626 pop up on my Youtube feed - Mahindra 1626 - YouTube. Mostly just pics from various angles. Still no specs on the 1635 that I've seen...
Been looking at the Kioti CK3510SE in the meantime. Heavier than the smaller-framed 1500/1600s. I know that's usually a plus, but I'm not sure the added weight of the Kioti is ideal for my application (working near the house / on the lawn and in young growth forest), but the loader / backhoe specs seem better. I think pricing would be within a $1k or so of the 1626 (maybe less for the 1635). Going to be a tough call...lots of nice features standard on the Kioti, but a little more than I really wanted to pay.

Because Mahindra puts no more effort into their website than they do their manuals.

I just heard from my dealer today.... they advised their 1626's have been shipped and should arrive in the next couple days... I might just actually get to lay my hands on a brand new to t hge market 1626 HST!

Cool. They didn't mention anything about the 1635, did they? (Though, honestly, I'm about 90% sold on a Kioti CK3510SE at this point).

Well the answer became clear. I finally got to do the same test the new model Mahindra 1626. New for 2018. I did the same bale test with the 1626 as I had done with the L2501. 900# large square and a 5ft hog off the back of the Mahindra. At engine idle...using pallet forks, lifted it to full height without breaking a sweat..! Back end planted! So easy for it that I decided to try it without the 5' hog... 1626 lifted it to full height...again! When the Kubota would have tipped on it's nose... Wow what a difference! You see proof like that in front of you it's easy. I bought the 1626 in the spot! I'm excited for all it can do for me!! The L2501 is a nice tractor. It just plain doesn't lift like the Mahindra

Any news on when these 1635's are due for release, or any pricing or specs? My local dealer has multiple 1626's, but still doesn't seem to know anything about the 1635 at all. I'm going to be pulling the trigger soon on something....leading contender at the moment being Yanmar YT235....but I'd really like to see how the Mahindra 1635 compares to that, especially in pricing. I'd expect the Mahindra to be thousands less than the Yanmar, but probably similar specs.
