Tractor
Mahindra 1815 HST
I have a Mahindra 1815 HST tractor and
I went to use the bucket yesterday and the curling function for the bucket wasn't working.
It seems like something fell off or broke on the joystick under the boot but I'm not sure what.
I took the boot off and I can't quite tell how this thing works
It's a Cross joystick, I couldn't find a model number on it.
There weren't any broken or loose parts in the boot.
There is a valve control that has nothing attached to it and this works the curling of the bucket.
I can push it an pull it and the bucket curling works, but something must have come off this piece
to stop it from working.
Here are a couple of pictures.
If someone can tell me whats missing or broken would really appreciate it

I have a JD and my curling function stopped once. After lots of searching I found that the hydraulic hose somehow came loose overnight. I unplugged it completely and pushed it back in until it clicked and it worked again. Not sure how it became loose. Not sure if yours has the same problem just thought I’d offer my experience. I hope you get it figured out.

The threads with the black on the bottom in photo two looks wrong to me. Maybe their should be a nut under that.

You should to pull the Allen head bolts and that silver plate.

Yes your right there is a bolt missing on the bottom of that one piece.
I put another bolt on it but then I couldn't move the lever to the left or right at all.
Maybe that sleeve on that piece goes through needs to slide up and down, could be stuck right now.
I'm not sure how that will get the curling function working again though.
There doesn't seem to be anything connected to the piece that I circled, and that's what controls the bucket.
I'll have to look at it again.

To me it looks like there is a cast part missing...seems like a second cast block would fit over the ball at the top of the curl spool and interacts with the block that is there?

I sent an email to Cross the joystick manufacturer to see if they could send me a
diagram and they got back to me pretty quick with a diagram and I was able to fix it.
The threaded piece that was through that sleeve needed to be connected to the valve with the ball top.
So I guess it just came loose and the when I was moving it side to side it slipped into that sleeve.
So this is how it is supposed to be.
