I have a mahindra 2638 hst with around 500hrs on it. Tractor sat for 2 weeks. Went to start it and cranks but no start. Fuel filter was leak at the top by the gasket. Replaced that. Loosened injectors and bled air out. Tractor will run on ether and has plenty of fuel getting to the injectors just won’t fire on its own. Has anyone had this issue or has any ideas on the problem. The way to bleed air is......
Remove the "driver's" side panel .
Get a 10mm wrench & slightly crack open the bleeder screw on the black- painted Bosch filter assembly. The screw is on the back side. Aggressively pump the top of the filter assembly to build pressure and close the bleeder while fuel is squirting out.

The method you described applies to old school tractors without high pressure common rail injection. Doing that here will create more problems.

Assume your fuel is CLEAN
