Mahindra 3016 HST

I meant to ask , is the belly mower for the 3016 a drive on like on the Max series?
No belly mowers at dealer to look at. Any 3016 Belly mower feedback appreciated.

Something is going on here which makes no sense. I have a 2615 HST L M H ranges. My 1/2 mile drive is on a gradual incline leading up to my house. Starting at the bottom, I can put my tractor in high range, at around 2o00 rpm, gradually come up to speed, and easily cruise up hill with foot pedal to the floor. My tires are loaded and I know my tractor is close to 3000 lbs. Did Mahindra do something to make the 3016 less powerful than the 2615?

I rarely use high gear, except for when I'm in a hurry to get back to the house. My property is to irregular to mow or do any chores at a high speed. I rarely use low range either. For me, M range is the sweet spot.

Don't know AB. Perhaps they've gone to a smaller pump or a pressure change. At any rate, this incline started at about 20% and then got to about 50%. I floored it as well and was told not to. I feathered the pedal backing off and it still wouldn't make it up. The salesman tried it and he couldn't do it. This was with unloaded tires. Put it in midrange and had no trouble. Engine screaming and slowly going up. Just didn't fit my makeup. If an engine is screaming in my world, I want it to "go". Got on the geared and went up this hill at an idle in 4 low. That's what made sense to me for the engine output.
