Mahindra 3316 front axle squeak

My front axle is making a loud squeaking sound so I rose the wheels off the ground to see where it was coming from . It is coming from the front pivot and bracket that is bolted to the chassis . I can't see any grease fitting or place to grease it . Looking at the parts online it looks like there is a bushing #9 that fits into the front bracket #5 and two o-rings #10 . There is a nut on the front that is holding it together . The axle is hard to swing up and down with the wheels off the ground . Is there a place to grease it or does the front gear oil go out to the bushing ?

I have never seen a tractor that does not have a grease fitting there, In fact most will have 2, one in front and one on the back side. But then again I have never looked at a Mahindra 3316 either. Lets see what others say. What does your manual say?

Thanks KOua . I looked in the operators manual but can't see anything in there about it . No grease fitting to be seen in the area . I don't have or know where to get a service manual for the tractor . Looking on line at the parts layout for the front axle it looks like it uses a bushing and two o-rings . My question is does the differential oil get out to pivot area and lubricate the bushing and o-rings . I did spray some oil on the area but it is still squeaking and is still very hard to move the axle up and down when the front wheels are off the ground using the FEL .

My 4035 has one, is it possible yours got sheared off?

Thanks jjlite . I looked at the parts list online and the 4035 has the grease fitting shown . No grease fitting shown in the parts list for the 3316 .
