Mahindra 3550 down on hp?

Looked at the specs of the new 3550 recently and it looks like the new cab model is losing 3hp at the PTO over the new open station model and the old 5035 model (40 vs 43 hp). Anyone out there know why the cab model loses 3 PTO hp? Seems odd.

Probably the AC compressor pulls that 3 or so HP... BobG in VA

' USUALLY ' a cab'd tractor has a little larger amp alternator over an open station, too... Don't think that they would crank up the A/C and turn all the other stuff on just before they were spec'n out the HP though...

Be sure your not comparing the HST to the PST... hst drops about that much at the pto compared to PST
