I always thought kodachrome made pics too blue. I always preferred Fuji-Chrome when I could get it.

We should probably stay on topic.

Odd kodachrome was a warmer toned film while Fuji was noted for saturated blues and greens. Overly saturated and kinda phoney looking IMHO. It was also an E6 process like Ektachrome which you might be thinking of which was indeed blue. You could do the E6 process at home but since Kodachrome was dyed in processing it had to go to a big lab that was setup for it. A little known fact, oddly enough they used to formulate film and the tonal balance for the skin tones prevalent in the market it was sold in. Warmer tones for the US, sort of ruddy skin tones for Europe like Agfachrome and the bluer/greener tone of Fuji to offset the yellowish skin tones of Asia.

What was the topic again? LOL Oh yeah axle seals. I've done my share of those. Not hard to replace but just a pain to tear the axle/wheel down to get to them. I could probably do the front axle on my truck with my eyes closed. Too many times. The portals on the tractor might be nice for a change though.

Wheel bearing seals on a truck are easy, not so sure about the tractor, but I think it would be doable ok.

Yeah I tried that this morning. They said everything but the seals and Orings are covered.... they wouldn't give me a quote said to just bring it in and theyd fix it since ir could be anything and charge me.... not the answer I like to hear. I asked for a quote for the inner seal or outer seal but the guy couldn't tell me. He did say if they tore it down and found a bad bearing that it would all,be covered though.

That's frustrating to see the part not covered under warranty and the dealer not willing to give you a ballpark cost on installing the new seal.

if he was a good dealer, he would take it apart and definitely find a bad bearing.

Well if the seal is bad you could run it underwater for a while and soon enough the bearing would indeed be bad. LOL
