Yep, the 5500-4WD is a fine tractor. I guy I know just traded-in his 4500-2WD for one 2 weeks ago. That's a bit of over-kill for my needs though. Again, my main purpose in purchasing a tractor is to mow my 15 acres with it and possibly do some grounds cleanup work with the loader. I don't want to purchase new and pay new prices plus sales tax if I can find a decent used tractor with low hours and it's the right size for my needs. I found another 2002 model 4200 with FEL and 6' shredder for sale and the tractor has less than 200 hours. I tried contacting the owner but got their voice mail. I don't know if it's 2WD or 4WD, but by the low price they are asking, I'm betting it's a 2WD. Anyway, I consider it a steal for the low hours with shredder and FEL and I may go with it if it's still for sale. I have a few things I know I'll use the FEL for and after I take care of them, I'll use the tractor mainly for mowing. Therefore, I may forego 4WD for a low hour 2WD that is priced right. I've been checking on 10,000 and 11,000 pound tailers and found some for less than $3000. I'm sure I can sell my 7000 pound 18' lowboy to recoup some of my expense on the heavier capacity trailer I'll need for a 4200 tractor.
