Okay.. instrumentation fix was simple. One connector was dangling from wiring harness. Both a 14 pin connector and a 12 pin connector mate with connectors on backside of black panel behind steering wheel. Finally noticed the white slot that mated with the 12 pin loose connector. Fuel gauge works now. Temp gauge will need engine heat to move its needle but no reason to expect it won't. Also put nut on clutch lever bolt that activates clutch switch. Put nut on top and tightened down to keep bolt from moving downward from vibration. If my clutch were this easy I'd be hauling hay all over the farm
