Tell me a little about the Mahindra 7520/Loader. Will it have a power shuttle or do you have to use the clutch? 12 speeds, so is it a 4 speed trans and 3 speed transfer case? Durable? Does 1200 hours mean worn out or just broken in? Is there any pollution control on the Mahindra 7520? How about computers on the Mahindra 7520? Are parts readily available? I have a Dealer within 40 miles.

Are there things I should look at and/or check?

Thanks,

Bill

Had to change out the original battery at 10 years. I don't get to go out to the ranch much :( since starting Fit Rite Hydraulics. I currently have it down in town to make a few improvements to it. Added 2 more rear remotes, (5 total now) upholstered the head liner. Started to add European type quick hitch ends, got the draft links done, still need to do the top link. Going to rework the draw bar mount and get it up higher.

Over all the tractor is great and I still feel that it is one of the best 75hp tractors ever built.

Just my :2cents:

How's retirement?

Replied to his e-mail. ;)
MtnView has undoubtedly told you a great deal of what you need to know.

KSB, that you asked about in PM, is an issue that shows up with very light work in cool weather causing wet stacking. $20K that you mentioned for a 2005/6 loader 7520 4wd tractor seems high to me. I paid $40K new in 2006 with loader and Backhoe w/2buckets, toothbar, grill guard, and canopy.

If the problem is indeed KSB it is trivial and will respond to a very slight advance of injection timing. You, however could use the poor running of the tractor as a factor to bargain down the price.
