Mahindra 8560 vs Deutz Fahr 4080.4e - both with cabs

I just got an offer from a local Deutz Fahr dealer on a DF 6140 TTV (CVT transmission 140HP). It’s fully loaded. Also has front 3 point and PTO, loader with bucket, front fenders, and wheel weights for $149,000. Warranty is 2yr 2000 hours and extendable at any time during the warranty period.
They offered me $45,000 for my M126X as a trade-in.

The cons I believe of this tractor are it has a smallish 4L 4-cylinder engine. Dealer is 2 hours away, so support would be problematic. They also have financing, but no incentive financing. 7.9% for 5 years.

You have to go up to a 6160TTV before you get to their bigger 6 cylinder.

Do it; you hate that Kubota. 🤣

Thats good to know, because 4 liters is small for a tractor this size.

I should of mentioned the size of the tractors. Those new hollands are making 115 hp. I have a 4.5 litre fiat powered deere making 100hp. Those little fendts are making about 115hp. The kubotas have the 3.8litre for 95hp but aren't known for their power or hydraulics.

Not at all. I don’t hate Kubota.
I actually really like Kubota.
I just came to realize after many years of use that the capability of Kubota “farm” tractors I have are no longer capable of doing the tasks I have.

The smaller diesel mowers are absolutely fine.
Plus, buying a new tractor, even with a good trade-in offer, is out of reach for me at this time.

This sounds about right. I paid 120k for my 6130ttv, no front PTO or 3pt. I did have them put the bigger tires and fenders from a 6140 on though, I was trying to get as much stability as possible for the meadows around here.

Very tempting, but then the thought out making $1,000 payments for 84 months kicks in…..
Actually a perfect chore tractor for me.

Just out of curiosity about the kubotas, when you say no longer up to the task?

I was a fan, on 2 occasions nearly purchased one, bought a 75hp Deutz over a 70hp kubota and a 90hp john deere over a 90hp kubota. But now i hear alot of negative feedback from my friends that have them. Usually around actual power and hydraulics. In saying that, one friend who has 4 ranging in hp from 60 to 105 said if they weren't so overpriced he'd have alot more positive things to say.
