I been seeing auctions for Mahindra tractors auctions in Houston. Cab tractors, 70 horse, most selling around $20,000-$25,000. They are new, less than 5 hours, they have loaders. I wonder if they been in floods. I email auctions and ask but got no reply.

For those interested, keep in mind that some brands will deny warranties if the piece of equipment is sold at an auction.

Not saying that's the case for Mahindra but definitely something to triple check.

Yup if it's at an auction with low hours, then chances are really good that they've been sunk and flooded.

Weeks Auction, Ocala FL, was had a good number of smaller almost new tractors, and new impliments; I think from a dealer closure, but I don't know for sure.

So, it could be a bankrupt dealer; insurance sale from flood; repossessions; or who knows. Just keep in mind, most auctions, your looking at about 25% above bid as your out the door price. I think our local one charges sales tax on everything, including exempt stuff like tractors; as well as a 3% card fee, and 11% fees/premium

Few years ago,
Mahindra Finance had a bunch of repossessed tractors, mostly SCUT & CUT machines, that were for sale prior to being auctioned off.
They had pricing on each machine, I guess based on balance of loans, that was non-negotiable only thru dealers.
Seems when I looked, not many 50+hp available and most were 2wd.
That was a few years ago.

The tractors I saw on BigIron were brand new, most had 3 hours or less on them. You can go to bigiron.com
