I had serious corrosion around the positive post on my 2815 from the time it was new. Several years ago I replaced the battery with a sealed maintenance free type and that fixed it.
Mahindra Max 28 XL hst is just over a year old - in the first months of operation there appeared significant corrosion at the positive post. And yesterday during routine maintenance, I was aghast at the spread of the corrosion from the post to the tie down "j" bolts. This is unacceptable. What could be causing the phenomenon in an otherwise very clean tractor?
