Mahindra 3525
I'm thinking of buying a Mahindra with a FEL. I have about 10 acres of open land I'll be cutting and 3 acres that are woods. Looks like about the only difference between these two is the size. I got a price of 13,500 for the C35 and 13,900 for the 3525. I only plan on bushogging, tilling, and keeping a 600 feet driveway up. I figured on using a 6 foot bushog, but wasn't sure how big a tiller these would pull. Any preferences from anybody here on which tractor they would prefer?

I recently gave some consideration to these same two tractors. This is what I was told. The C35 is a compact version of the 3525. The C35 has a fiberglass exterior whereas the 3525 uses metal. They weigh about the same. If you are not going to trailer this tractor, the 3525 might be a better choice. Since it has a larger frame, it should be a little more stable. However, if your 10 acres are flat then this probably will not matter much. Personally, I think that bigger is better, but that C35 will get the job done. It will also look a lot nicer after a little age since it does not have a metal skin. Have fun with making your choice!

The 3525 is actually about 700lbs heavier and about a foot wider so it will be a little more stable. I bought a 3325 which is basically the same tractor except for the powersteering and so far i've been very satisfied. it's a big solid powerfull tractor.

If you go to mahindrausa.com you can actually compare the specs side by side on both tractors. ALso you might want to haggle a bit on the price,at Bills tractors in San Antonio after rebates the 3525 was right under 10g's. I don't know if you've actually seen them side by side but the diffence on both tractors your looking at seems significant. the 25 series is more of an AG tractor.

Anyways i seriously doubt you can go wrong with either machine just depends what your looking for.

Thanks for everyone's help. I bought the 3525. As mentioned on the post, when you see the two side by side you can tell the 3525 is a bigger tractor.

Good Choice. I've researched quite a few different tractors over the past few months, and I keep coming back to the 3525 myself. I'm sure it will give you many years of good service. Be sure to post a picture or two.
Enjoy.
