rback33,

I bet your memory serves you right and I think I know where you can get the loader.... Seems like they are made by some company by the name of KMW. :p:D;)

Dave
Could you please elaborate on the loaders? The T90 loader from Humpolec (Tracklift) used on the T700 is rated at 3930 at the pivot. The Mahindra loader from all I can determine from their web site is rated at 3300 at the pivot. And the curved boom loader Montana is using is rated at 3500 at the pivot and rated for tractors up to 100hp. I think all three loaders are made well. Each may have some pluses or minuses to each other. Did I miss something? As for the TYM and the Montana being shorter will give you a tighter turning radius. The TYM now also has an improved 5-year warranty as standard. It covers the tractor bumper to bumper (excluding wear items) for the first three years and then the forth year is drive train only, parts and labor (no deductible) and the fifth year is drive train, parts only with a deductible. I would think the most important issue is how close is the local dealer and is the buyer comfortable with them. Not to mention TYM (from the east coast up to the mtn states) has 0% for 60 months financing.
As always I wish the buyer good luck with what ever they buy.
Happy tractoring

Hi Chipperman,

Sounds like you have done your homework. We sell very few cab tractors out of our location and I don't stock the 7010Cab. So I am not up on the specs off the top of my head. It was rback33 with the opinion on the loaders.

It's good that TYM is stepping up on the warranty. The "parts only with a deductible" portion of the old warranty didn't have a lot of value. The current warranty sounds good. Now the financing is different in the east than in the west?

Chipperman,
I think you really should have pointed your response at me, but that's OK... As I stated in my previous post, my opinion is based on old information. It is very likely that TYM has a better loader on the tractor now. Capacities don't always tell the whole story though. The area of the loader which I viewed as underbuilt is one of the most critical areas of any loader. I also know how hard it was for us to design this area of the loader and get it to survive testing. The survival part is completely relative, but the loader I saw would not have survived the cylce testing we do on our loaders. I hope that Dave can eventually attest to our procedures by seeing them himself.

Dave sorry about that, I must have mixed up the posts.

mighty mississippi: Dealers set there price not the Mfg. I can't imagine though why the montana version would be more than the TYM. I have heard just the opposite (considerably) as for the Mahindra I would think a TYM dealer could be very competitive with them. I suspect the TYM (Humpolec) loader or the loader used on the montana may be a little higher then the Mahindra model due to increased specs but I really do not know. Again the dealers set the prices not the mfg.
Good Luck

I'll give it to TYM they've definately got the most aggressive financing. Theirs has stayed at 0% while the other's are going up.

jwcinpk,
Like everthing else it will not last forever. As of now it runs through the end of the year. Anyone wanting to use it I would suggest they use it while they can.
Happy tractoring

Could Mahindra be playing possum with the numbers?
The Deere 3 cylinder engine is rated at 70hp, the Mahindra which is supposed to have the same engine as the 7520 is rated at 72hp. However the 7520 is rated at 75hp. Same displacement, same compression yet the turbo isn't listed. Both are turbo. I suspect it is a true 75hp. If it is not it obviously could be made a 75hp fairly easily.

The 4 cylinder motors feel smoother, but HP is HP, so I don't see any significant difference in actual performance. The tractors are very similar. The differences to look for are the tires/wheels and loaders, plus any options that may come standard on one and not the others, ie: remotes or something like that. The tires/wheel and loaders are sourced independant of the tractors. The big factor, as these are so similar, would be the dealer.
