Insurance Mahindra Financing Insurance Requirement

When I bought my Massey six months ago they told me I had to get the insurance also. The price they quoted me for their in house insurance was three times what I ended up paying through Farm Bureau.

insurance through agricredit is great. my tractor got messed up in hurricane katrina over 6000$ damage cost me 500.00 and comes in handy for times like thursday when i rolled my 6500 4X4. Wonder if it covers new underwear

Would the benefit to insuring through agricredit be the ability to file a claim and not see your rates increase? I know if I file a claim through my homeowners, my rates are going to go up.

I would shop around. I financed through AgriCredit in 2005 for 36 months. They charged me $6.30 a month.

things have changed a lot in 10 years.

The rates depends on what is covered, Kubota pays replacement value so even though you might only be financing 12,000 of a 40,000. dollar tractor they insure you for the 40,000. Most pay on depreciated value so they cost less to begin with.

My homeowners, USAA, required a rider. I ended up putting in on my car insurance from State Farm.
about .1% per month of the financed amount. $24 a month for my 4025 4wd with loader.

In California, it is about $5/month/$10k financed. A $25k package would be about $12.50/month. Rates vary by state.
