Again I hope no offense was taken because I did'nt mean any...I was just curious..Hat's off to you for watching out for your neighbor's,as that is what a good neighbor is supposed to do.You did'nt mention the year or model of the machines. My 4530 with the 245 loader is is anything but sensitive..In my case I want to speed operation up..
Regard's
Sean..

mahpop,
Does this sensitivity get worse when lowering with a load in the bucket? If yes then it is definitely pointing towards a control valve with limited or poor metering characteristics. Will a dealer do something about this, probably depends on the dealer and if the loader was installed at the dealership etc... They may try the "band aid" of installing flow controls or orifices to hide the problem Vs fix the problem.

For reference I believe the valve I removed from my Branson was a Nimco and it had no metering.

What size tractors are these?

If the valve has any metering capability at all, lengthening the joystick (maybe try twice as long) is something simple and cheap that will give you a bit more control.

No offense taken. I should have mentioned in the original post that we use a Long tractor for the heavy lifting. The Mahindra is for the small jobs including brush hog work around both places.

The sensitivity is there at all times. Both tractors are 4530's. I'm new to the Mahindra, I'm a John Deere guy so I'm kind of feeling my way with this machine. I've never run into this problem with the Cat dozers or Deere backhoes I run.

Interesting possibility lengthening the joystick. Thanks for the heads up, I'll give it a try.
