Mahindra new seat

I heard that Mahindra was coming out with a different seat for some of their tractors. Have not seen one yet. My replacement seat looked just like my original one.
I inquired about a seat cover, but there does not seem to be one available for the 10 series. Thought a cover would be good to protect the seat, because replacing costs about $300 bucks or more I hear.

I wonder if it is actually a new seat design or did Mahindra find another supplier with better seam stitching.. Perhaps a new supplier may have a little diferent design form the outset..

They had changed seat design approx a year ago on the "10" series, since they have i have not seen any seat problems. Mahindra also offers a "deluxe" seat for the "10" series, but i have installed one as of yet for anyone. I have not heard of a new seat coming out but maybe.

So sorry to hear about your problems. My suggestion: Have the dealer assemble everything in the way of parts that is needed to get the tractor fixed, then ask him to bring them all to your tractor and do the installation. That way, he only makes one trip and you get everything done at once. It may delay your getting it fixed, but in the mean time, you can still use the tractor. As suggested, go ahead and run it, because often new equipment needs a little fine tunning of some type after it is run a few hours, and you can add any other items of this nature to you list when he comes out. I am confident that Mahindra warranty + the dealer will accomidate such a request. If not, I would have a serious discussion with your dealer & write a letter to Mahindra.
