My 5010 gear cab just had a rock shot through the windshield , can a regular glass shop replace this or dealer only ?

Dealer only, plus they aren't cheap!
Maybe your home owners insurance will cover it?

What state do you live in, I know of an outfit that does car and truck windows as well as tractors, combines, construction equipment, they travel all over the state of Wisconsin.

I had a side glass break on a 4510. The glass was not too bad in price, the shipping and handling I think was twice the cost of the glass.
