We would like to mail some cookies to a friend serving in the mideast. He's in the navy but we think is stationed on shore. The mailing address is Taskforce Trident - APO - -

Does anyone have suggestions how to pack? Any idea how long for delivery?

Thanks,

Jack

I would say to pad as you would for a domestic shipment. If you send fresh baked goods, wrap cakes in bubble wrap (unfrosted) and wrap cookies individually. When I was in the US Navy, I can't tell you how many guys I saw who received boxes of cookie crumbs. Even so, the crumbs didn't go to waste and they had plenty of help cleaning them up.:)

My mom use to send me jars of bread and butter pickles while I was in the Navy. Never had an issue receiving them.

When I was in the army I recieved a couple of goody boxes. I did have one at one time that had more goodies then I cared for...............it was full of cookie crums and ants.
