IMBO (In My Blue Opinion) Site News belongs where it is, Kubota belongs where it is, however, since the Ford/New Holland Board gets more traffic than the John Deere Board how about switching them? Wouldn't that be /w3tcompact/icons/cool.gif! It wouldn't be /w3tcompact/icons/crazy.gif would it? Just checking, and yes I know there are areas below them that get more traffic. /w3tcompact/icons/tongue.gif IMBO, JimBinMI

Thanks, you're one fast "cookie" /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif. By the way, my speed is way faster since you made changes and since @home e-mailed me with some ways I can set-up my computer to work faster. However, they conflict with you on the proxy deal! /w3tcompact/icons/shocked.gif They say that I should set them as my proxy because their proxy server acts as a dedicated local server holding cached files for high-traffic sites. /w3tcompact/icons/crazy.gif What do you think?? It is no surprise that they want you to use a proxy - test your speeds with and without it and see which is faster. I can only say from when I had a proxy, it felt like a filter was on every connection, because in a way it is with a proxy. When it was finally removed, the floodgates opened and speed was much faster. Now the only problem is too many users on the service which they won't upgrade to handle the use. (A common cable modem complaint nationwide.)

Thanks for the feedback. The proxy is off right now and I like my speed so maybe I won't try it, if I do I'll let you know how it turns out. JimBinMI

Jim,

No problem, to try it, just set two friends under your LAN settings, then either apply or disable it to turn it on or off - easy to 'get rid of' if it is too slow.
