If you decide to trade it in on a new one, be sure the new one has been brought up to date before you take delivery!

I purchased mine in July 05 so I'm wondering if its a supplier problem? Maybe there having problems with 1 supplier and not another? Oh well the dealer will have my tractor for about a week to get it fixed. We will se how it goes.

Oh yea,RRacing,i also just had my fuel sending unit replaced the other day ,its been acting up since i bought the tractor.

Fuel sending unit was replaced at 100 hr service along with inspection of noise from steering column as per hydraulic noise/whine. Still makes noise, but not as bad. Fuel gauge was bouncing around like a noise meter about 2 months after I brought her home.

Well Bad News,!!! I just got my tractor back and The recall screwed up something!!!!When I first bought this tractor I had problems with the engine being way down on power!! after about 8 weeks They finally fixed it and it ran great!( it would climb my driveway in "C" range without breaking a sweat). Well after the recall it will not drive up my driveway in "B" range without stalling from lack of power ( almost the same as before!!! I had to shift it to "A" range to get it up my driveway!!!!!)Also after replacing my fuel sending unit it reads empty when the tank is almot 3/4 full.
Is it just my luck? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif The dealer said they would look at it again to see if there is anything they can do.

Sounds like you need to do some work on the driveway as well.

Driveway is a 15 percent incline with 1 short spot at 18. Its asphalted. Its not the driveway thats the problem. My 2210 I own now and my 790 when I owned it had no issues nore did my 950. All of them climbed it in high gear with out stalling or struggling.

The dealer did the recall fix on my 4520 two weeks ago, and there is no discernible difference between before and after. I had plenty of power (and plenty of hills on the property) before they did the work, and it was pulling trailerloads of stones up the hill this afternoon.

Sounds like there's something else wrong with your tractor, or else the dealer's mechanic isn't paying attention.
