more radom bits of "junk" to pull out of the various sheds around the property.

So its rather "small" as plows go... 6-8" from what i can tell (from what i've learned from measureing plows hear on TBN)

anyway the hookup on the front looks odd, like it would fit the back of my uncles 4wheel gravely perfectly... yet i dont have one. instead a "real" tractor with 3 point hitch.

so
a) mount the mail box to it in the front yard
b) sell it for scrap
c) give it to my uncle (who probibly wont use it behind his gravely anyway)
d) fab up some way to use it behind the tractor... "just because"

what i dont understand is how its stablized... kept from moving right to left with that single piviot in the front....

Looks like a plow for a David Bradley walk-behind tractor. Contact your local antique tractor guys or list it on ebay.

Looks like an early Brinley plow. Clean it up and use it. If you have a garden, its works great to lay off rows with....You also can also list with it by going one way, then movingover about 6" and going back the other way (throwing the two together for potatoes, tomatos, etc. I've got a recent one that I rigged up behing one of our Farmall Super Cs with a 2pt Fasthitch. Works great. Just put a pin thru the "clevis" somewhere along your drawbar and use the thing Man! PS: have it sandblasted and repaint. You can find one on ebay almost anytime. BobG in VA
