I think you better recheck those B2710 specs. Telecoping arms and premium seat are B2910 items, not 2710 specs. I dont believe there to be ANY features on the 2710 that aren't on the B7800. The B2910 is a different matter. It TOO has it's pricing problems vis-a-vis, a stone's throw from a Grand L. By stone's throw, I mean less than 1000 clams.

Biturn is the HSDB option on the 2410, lest I'm mistaken.

DAP: According to the specs on the Kubota Website, you are partially right. Bi-Speed turning is on the 2410 only and the telescopic 3ph stabilizers, if you bring up the detail on that feature, are only on the 2910. However, at least according to the website specs the 2710 has both the delux seat and position control. For reasons given earlier, I do not regard either of these as major advantages.

Nonetheless, I entirely agree with you that these two differences do not justify the $1500 higher price for the 2710 (nor, even considering the additional features on the 2910, the $2500 additional cost for it), particularly since they are, IMHO, more than offset by the fact that you get a lower HP engine.

I was tempted by the 3130, but decided against it because there is no significant HP difference and, when I want max weight and traction, I will have plenty of weight with the FEL and and woods 7500 BH and subframe on. By my calculation, in that configuration, the B7800 weighs almost 4000#, which isn't too shabby for a small/midsize compact. Moreover, I want to be able to take the rig to my summer/weekend property in Western Mass and with the heavier 3130 and heavier trailer that would be required to transport it and its attachments I would be pushing the towing capacity of my Chevy Suburban.

With the top n tilt enhancement that I am having added, I think that I will have a machine that is pretty serviceable and, in some respects, superior to an L3130 at a price slightly lower than a B2910. In any case, I am happy with that choice.
