Can you share any insights....Are you currently growing and selling sun flower seeds ? What's the process ike, challenges, marketing, harvesting, acreage, equipment, etc. ? Appreciate your thoughts.

Plant sun-flowers. Bag the seed in various size zip-lock bags.
Sell to friends, bird lovers & Tractor Supply..

Hey, I know where New Baltimore, MI is. My second job was in there.

Anyways, a local farmer has done just that. Started with sunflower seeds on a small plot. It has now grown to almost 30 acres. Not sure where he sells this organic to, but he plants more each year over the previous year. I think the farm is near Orlinda, TN.

I do know that it's used in a product called Sunbutter. People who have allergies to nuts can eat this instead. The organic makes it a little difficult, but natural methods to keep the pests away does help.
