The owners manual should have a drawing showing the plug lay-out.

I agree that it should not be too hard to change this goofy plug out with a more standard version, but I still think that MAHINDRA should come through with a plug that fits. If they want to have the respect with the other big boys, they can't be doing silly things like having connectors that don't work with anything else including their own! After all it is not some kind of "gray market tractor". Little things like this still count.

I was wondering about that plug myself.

Then I thought, "Why in world would I tow a trailer with the tractor in any kind of situation that I would need lights, brakes and turn signals on it for any lenth of time where it would be worthwhile finding a plug."

Havent really considered it since /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I agree with you VARMINTMIST that I probably never tow a trailer that would need lights. However it chaps me that they don't offer one for the tractor. Probably thats why I want one.

Thanks to all,
Gary

OK, I think I ve got it right this time. I had not looked closely at the one on the back of my 4110 untill yesterday. The other posters are right, it isn't anything common in the U.S. If you do a search on the internet for " 7 pin n type" you will find many people willing to sell you that style connector for somewhere between 2 and 3 British Pounds. I think it would be a major headache to replace the socket on the tractor unless it is wired with quick disconnects. For the few implements that you are likely to use behind it, It might be easier to wire them up with this style connector.

Good job mboulais, how did you figure out what type of connector it is?
Varmintmist & Gary: I too agree the use would be very few times, but, it would be great for safetys sake for those few occations you might want to pull the landscape trailer a short trip down the road to a nieghbor.
You know, load of hay or maybe firewood, the pickup doesnt need all the fun!
Some one at Mahindra was thinking on the right track anyway.

I have been busy the last few days, I plan on calling Mahindra like I said and hear it from them why they do not sell a plug. I'am also going to my dealer on Wed. to have my backhoe installed. It should be in then. Putting on a Mahindra 3375 Mahindra made by Bradco.
Thanks to all,
Gary

Then you just hook it up and drag it /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Worst case I would need a ground, brake, and turn signals. No clue as to what I would haul that would use all those pins.

Parade floats with spinning things? Or a 12 volt cooler on the float for the older float riders /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Hmmm, maybe it is worth looking into /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
