Man, 89, crawls 23 hours to report fatal accident

Folks that are that old, that have been married for 60 or so years may have their differences but they probably rely on each other quite a bit. Unfortunately, the guy probably lost his care taker and life long mate and will soon die without her. I dread the idea of outliviing any of my children, let alone my wife.

Wow, I guess that pretty much sums up how I feel, too. The only difference is that I waited until I was 38 to find the woman of my dreams( and the man of hers, of course). I've only been married for a little more than a 1 1/2 years, and we don't have children, but I can't bear to think of leaving her alone. I think that with age comes respect for others, so even though my married life has just started, I can feel that poor mans pain...... I think I'll call her at work and remind her how I feel.
