I have nothing agents vaccinating children, but I would rather see them given one vaccination at a time not 3 combined live virus at once only for convenience.

It's an attenuated virus. And it's given combined because it's proven safe since decades. There is no reason to poke a needle in children more times than necessary.

Seriously, are you referring to "ThinkTwice Global Vaccine Institute" ? That is nothing but a typical non-scientific anti-vaxx scare site with a fancy name.

I have no idea what your experience is but I do have some with a bad reaction to vaccinations. Not the MMR but the Hep B .... But ask yourself this if vaccines were so safe why is a percentage of the cost of every shot deposited into the vaccine injury compensation fund?

Any vaccine, as any medication can cause side effects. Just look at the published side effects for Tylenol, or any other medicine on the market. Vaccine side effects should be taken seriously, and improved vaccines are developed constantly. That doesn't mean that vaccines don't work, or that they are not worth some often very minor discomfort. Those extremely rare cases with more severe consequenses should of course be compensated. But the scaremongering that anti-vaxxers spread is totally counter-productive to providing true, balanced information about these legitimate problems.

Just as you could find literature supporting vaccinations I could find others not.

No you can't. Not any peer-reviewed, accepted and published litterature, which is the requirement for any scientific approach to the development of medical practice in the entire civilized world.

I few years ago I was at the [gasp!] Kubota dealer and was checking out tractors. (Glad I dodged that bullet :laughing Anyway I was telling the dealer I wasn't sure I needed a fel. His response (much like the responses people give on here) was that once you have one you will find so many uses for it you'll wonder how you ever got by without one. One such example he gave was having the wife raise me up to put up Christmas lights.

I still don't know if that would really be the most convenient way to do it, but it was comical nonetheless, and I'm sure he said that because he knows someone that does it that way.

Wouldn't doctors make more money if a lot of people contracted diseases instead of providing cheap vaccinations....?

By all means, lets not believe the combined medical science, all the renowned medical journals like the Lancet, BMJ, and every other serious journalist who has investigated this. Lets not believe every single country's public health boards, or the doctors who now has to treat measles outbreaks. They are all in on some grand scheme to poison our children....

Let's instead believe the fraud who got money from lawyers that wanted to sue for damages, and lets believe hippies, religious nuts and conspiracy theorists.

Where I live, people do hay rides on the road routinely. I go on the road for part of my hay ride too. For halloween I drive 3 kids (2 are mine) on the 3pt carry all to all the houses because they are really too far apart to walk and it's fun with a little straw in the carry all. My kids love this tradition. I've had cops come up behind me when doing the halloween tradition. They wave and go on by. My older daughter also goes with me to plow elderly neighors drives. She rides next to me kind of between my seat and the fender. She has a shovel and does the walkway while I plow the drive then hops on and we go to the next house. We only have a few cars an hour on my road. I've never given a second thought to any of this. It all seems safe enough to me. But I wonder if anyone would take exception to it and make a big deal about it.

All's well until the person coming up behind you has a medical emergency or has been drinking enough or doing enough drugs to not notice your tractor's speed is significantly slower than his vehicle's speed.

I think the worst accident I read about was last year. A 3yr old was riding in the cab of his father's JD combine. The model with the full windshield in the front. The child standing at the windshield leaned against the glass and it fell out dumping him into the operating head.
No one would have thought something like that could happen.
