^^^^ I noticed that too.

Maybe the reincarnation of Casey Jones . I have young friends who are experts at complex stuff (like machining/tool and die making) that they have no experience in. Weird!

Little diggin says de fireman on dat oilburner is her kin, and a Licensed Engineer.
Reminds me some of a little gal who operates a Farquar around west end of NY shows. Watched her grow into de machine, workin for her experience get married and have a baby. Bout got whiplash watchin dat machine go by wid a kid car seat mounted to coalbox lid. Husband gets to be fireman, maybe some day he learn enough to run machine.
Firebox does double duty as diaper pail.

You get away from evil citys you find a lot of smart useful kids ain't got a plastic box glued in der hand.

I kind of suspected that the fireman might have been her Father.

Something facinating in watching anyone do a job well and with complete confidence. In a world with so few real experts anymore. Call anyone an expert and I already have my doubts.

I feel that way on machinery or vehicles. They quickly become an extension of myself. It's something I've always enjoyed. You can tell that young lady enjoys what she's doing and is completely comfortable doing it. Great to see.

You always know when someone is doing something perfectly and with confidence, that there are no wasted movements. NOT like when I do something. lol Especially, when someone is watching.

Xspert ain't much more den a drip under pressure. Generally not much help.

Little gal took to steam loco like others take to sewin or cookin. Generally my findin is a kid comes along wants to LEARN, a competent man will teach de kid.
Bad part I been seein for 20+ years is society been turnin most kids off on learnin and onto complying wid de standard.

Little miss in video is pretty dang competent, and she knows 6 eyeballs lookin over her and protectin her, so she can be confident. You watch close you see her doin the girl eye thing as de crew busts her chops for de 1000th time. I'd bet she taggin along wid dad too get time wid him since before kindergarten.

Dis world got itself way too hung up on "educated" and left LEARNED behind. Bill comes in every day and most usual de "Educated" be payin de Learned man to save all dat stupdent loan due.

BTW, she rollin on flat land and don't get above notch 2 doin it. Pretty easy run. I'd ride wid her any day. Might learn a few things from her.
