Has anyone tried to install a log splitter on a EMAX25? It has no hydraulics on the rear. Can the loader control/pump handle the job?

a conventional under 20 ton log splitter uses an 11 gpm pump. Check the tractor specs and see it the tractor pump will handle it.
others who have asked about tractor mounted splitters on this forum usually are told to get stand alone unit....and I agree.
Mattt2778 has it exactly right.

I doubt you Max25 has enough GPM for fast operation. My buddy has a Kubota L3010 and his 3pt log splitter is sloooowww. My Northern Tool slitter with a 6.5hp Honda GX160 is much faster. And with a stand alone splitter you can use the tractor to bring wood to the splitter and to working height.
