I just pruchased a 6500 4wd and used it for about three hours with a disc mower. Awesome tractor, but it seems to generate a lot of heat toward the operator. Has anyone else experienced this?

I have the 4110 model and yes, it too, gets real warm especially after four hours non stop bush hogging. I think wth the engine cowlings and my loader, they create a natural tunnel for the heat to escape towards drivers platform. First few times this happened, I stopped checked everything and nothing is wrong. Just by design, I believe it is the nature of the beast..

Thanks for the reply. I suspected it was the nature of the beast. I suppose I will appreciate it this winter!

I mowed with my rotary cutter for about 6 hours the other day in 95 degree plus heat. Can't say that I ever really noticed any more heat than the sun was producing on its own. I did alot of snow removal last year and did not notice alot of heat then either. I take it from your post that you are noticing a flow of hot air. If thats the case, no such problem on the 6000 I have.
