I did like the movie, Prometheus ( Prometheus Reviews - Metacritic ) , but it left too, too much to our imagination (imo)...but, I've still watched it three times, so far.

Building the ship is no problem. Getting it up into space and powering it is the problem.

Just add some spaceship engines to an old surplus submarine.

I wouldn't doubt the military is well on its way, with how much of the budget is black-top secret, every time a new hi-tech patent is filed-military/national security has first shot and are presently sitting on over 4000+ for themselves. And then there's Roswell, and all the other ships and technology held by the Foreign Technology division- Wright Patterson AFB, Area 51, It makes u wonder why NASA isn't building rockets anymore. I just hope they are getting ready to release the tech to the world- and its finally time to truly reach for the stars Whoa were did that come from ..
