I see this started as a very old thread, 2004. Danny Parker who replied back, then hasn't been working with Yanmars for over a decade now. He's gone invisible. I see his website is abandoned and for sale. No use trying to contact him.
I suspect he got burned badly when Yanmar sued their 1970's Authorized Dealers for selling US-Yanmar parts to owners of the imports.
My post last year in 2021 triggered this off.
