I have an old International McCormick Canadian made manure spreader. I can not find a model number but I need a whole new set of apron chains. Anyone know of a source for chains? It might need to be a custom job.

Thanks

I made my own more than several years back. Got the chain from Shoups: Shoup Manufacturing - Agriculture Parts, Replacement, Equipment

Depends on the type of apron chain. Mine had the detachable link kind. 4, 10' rolls did mine, plus some for repairs if needed. They also had the new attaching links and rivets. If your cross bars are still good, you may want to consider it. Complete apron chains are expensive..!!

Once you open the link, look for Agricultural chain in the menu at left. They have manure spreader apron chain listed, then detachable chain by itself. If it is this type yours has, you'll have to determine the size. Mine was 60H. Usually stamped in the link, if you can still make it out.
