Yep! Been waitin' for March! It means the worst is usually over. Still.....I woulda' liked to have plowed some snow this winter.LOL! don-ohio ^)

I wanted to plant onions yesterday since it was the last day of February. Unfortunately, when I tilled my garden, where I want to plant onions was just too wet. The tiller loosened the soil so it will dry out, but it was sticking together in clods that were glistening with moisture. I'll let the soil aerate and dry today and see what it looks like tomorrow.

I tilled my garden three times last fall to make it nice and fluffy while chopping up any vegetation. That means any rain has just soaked in and did not run off. I like the fact that I'm preserving the soil moisture and don't have winter weeds.

I am ready for spring. About this time of year cabin fever sets in. Tired of snow, tired of bundling up and tired of filthy cars. I look forward to getting the chains off the tractor, dropping the pto blower and hitch up the backhoe or chipper.

Gardening is a ways off. We have almost knee-deep snow on the ground now since those storms passed through and the Kansans didn't keep their snow to home. :laughing:

I'm going out back of the property and cut some big dead trees and a few live ones. Cut them into 5' sections and chain 'em to the loader and haul to the woods! Thankfull my property has an old creek that's wet about 9 months a year in the back and then drops a foot from south to north so while I'm wet I'm not muddy.
