Backhoe Market Value of Backhoe & Loader off of BX22

Hello,
Is there any maket value for the backhoe and front end loader off of a BX 22 ?
I own the BX 22 and I'm tired of the attachments being in the way in my barn.

This is not and offer to sell at this time. I have come to realize that items can't be offered for sale in the forum section, so if there is any intrest I will post in the "Free" classfied section.

I'll take a shot at this, but from a different perspective.

I don't think you'd be able to sell the implements separately and get what they are worth.

If all you want is to keep the BX (and mower?), I think you'd come out money ahead to sell the BX as a unit, with FEL and backhoe, then buy a stand alone BX alone, or whatever model meets your fancy.

There are likely guys out here who have the BX 2200/2230/etc without the BH that might like to trade up, but my guess is most of them have the FEL also.

To me, the value of the BX is with the FEL and BH, and trying to sell them separately might be tough.

The trade or retail of the complete unit would be the best way to go. As a dealer to look at a BX2200 with a backhoe it would be unique and I'd worry that ALL the components might be there that are needed for it's proper operation. You should get enough from the sale of the 22 to pay for a new BX and have some change.

I suspected that it would be a tough to sell the implements by themselves.
I guess anyone that needs them already owns a BX and thus they already have them.
I thought that maybe someone had damaged their backhoe or loader and needed an entire unit replacement.

My understanding on the BX23 and BX2230 tractors when I was looking at them was that the BX23 had a heavier fram to support the backhoe not sure if this applies to the BX22 or not. I think the loaders were the same on both machines. I do not think it would be easy to take off all the extra parts on the BX23 or BX22 to transfer them to another machine. As somebody else said the trade is probably the better route.

I might be wrong bUt i dont even think that the hoe will fit on another machine .It might be interchangeable from 22 to 23 ,but these have an whole different hookup,without a subframe,its held on the tractors different with a hook type design.If it would work ithink youd have to have the whole rear part of your tractor or alot of engineering.On that note anyone who might be interested,probably dont need it,because they already have one.You might sell it to someone who is a good fabricator,but i agree on the ststement sell your whole tractor,the money you get will probably buy you a new Kubota mowing tractor.

Thanks again everyone, I think ya'll are right. The best route is to trade the entire machine or sell it.

I have grown quite fond of the BX and thought I might find a way to justify keeping it by selling the implements I don't use often, but as I suspected it's difficult to sell the implements when they are custom made for a specific tractor.
