Hi all, going to pick up my first tractor, Kubota L2501dt, at the end of the month. Not my first time on a tractor, my folks have a l3130, but now that me and the wife have a few acres we decided we should get our own. Pretty much plan on using it for moving dirt, wood, and plowing snow in the winter. I plan on fixing some pot holes in our driveway as well at least until we can get it paved.
I picked the 2501dt to not have to worry about the emissions on the more powerful tractors, and because I hate the noise a hydro makes. I think I'm going to break them everytime I hear them whine. It's also the biggest smallest tractor to use around our property.
I found a good combo deal (tractor, SSQA FEL, box blade, and 20ft 10k lbs trailer). I'm pretty pumped to get it!!!! Cant wait to get a tooth bar and tear up some stuff around here!!! Glad to be on the forums!!
