Just curious... do you extract the oil yourself or do you send the olives to a company that specializes in doing that?
FYI: Olive trees grow well in my area of the US but are not grown commercially to my knowledge. My neighbor has 3 olive trees on the edge of our properties... beautiful trees year round. Maybe some fruit will roll down the hill onto my side.

Where is Deluz? If you drive north on I-5 towards Corning, (small town south of Redding) you will see many, many Olive tress used for commercial prodution.

Rox, Hamburg is fairly close to where I used to live while I was in Germany. The climate is very close to where I am living now.
I transplanted the two olive trees into larger pots. Both had their roots very crowded and were in sitting water. Them seem to be much happier now; They are suddenly growing branches and leaves faster than they did before.
