Anyone manage to do this without splitting the tractor? I haven't dug around under it yet, but am thinking there may be collars that can be relocated to removed the front drive shaft? Any tips welcome!

I did a Challenger MT265B which is basically the same. The driveshaft shield is bolted to the front axle #11 and a clamp #8 in the middle.
Once you slide the shield back, there are snap rings #2 on either side of the front and rear drive shaft couplers that hold the coupler in place. Open the snap ring on the driveline side of the coupler to allow you to slide the couplers onto the driveshaft. This will allow you to remove the shaft.
