hi just bought a massey 1260 compact pulling what hair i have left out it wont start turning over but wont kick into life may go back to hiring people in if my massey wont play :confused2:

I know this sounds very basic but have you confirmed you are getting fuel at the filter?

Are you turning the key to the left for 20-30 seconds before you try to start it?

hi yes fuel getting to filter just when it passes through pump no pressure thanks for your reply

sometimes the fule soleniod malfuntions. Typically you can hear it click when you turn the key and then again a few second after the motor is turned off. In your case where the engine is not firing, that is where I would start.
