Nice tractor! I'd say you got a real good deal. You don't see many diesel 135's with power steering for that price.

That is a bunch of hours, but these Perkins engines may be good for it. My 150 has just under 2500 according to the meter. I don't know if it has always worked but it has worked everytime I've used it. It runs very strong with very little smoke. My father bought it from the original owner in 1997. Not sure how many hours were on it then, but my father used it almost daily before passing in 2007.

Personally, I think it's hard to tell if the colors are correct because of the lighting (glare), but can say for certain that the fender mounting brackets are painted red when they should actually be flint grey metallic. In this case, I was mostly interested in the color of the starter since I will soon be rebuilding mine and wanted to see what it would look like painted black.

The more I look at this picture, the more I like the idea of having a black starter and other components to contrast against the red and gray colors. It's only one of two Massey Ferguson 135 tractors that I have seen to date that was painted in this way.

However, I don't think the silver headlight bodies look quite right, they should actually be painted red. And I think the fender support brackets would look much better if they were painted the same color as the tractor body like they did at the factory.
